Physical fitness is the most important part of life. To be
able to perform duties with alacrity you have to be
physically fit. Physical fitness is a synonym for a fine
tuned body and is related to health and overall well-being.
A physically fit person copes with stress effortlessly and
does not get unduly ruffled in a crisis. These days people
are becoming more and more aware of the need to keep the
body fit. Everyone wants to look good, feel great and thus
expect to live a long and healhy life. A fitness plan
is the only mantra to achieve and fulfil that desire.

Choosing a physical fitness plan is a great idea if you are
sure you are up to it. This is something that you don't
choose lightly because it is a lifelong commitment. It
will consume a big part of your time and efforts, and must
become as much a part of your life as brushing your teeth.
Understanding the risks you run by being unfit is a big
motivator in helping you succeed in a fitness program.
Knowing what benefits you can receive from physical fitness
is also a big plus.

Having strong muscles along with a healthy heart and lungs
are signs of good fitness. Fitness is something that we
achieve on an individual scale, its different for each
person. On some levels fitness can affect how we act
emotionally and our alertness mentally. After all the
shape our bodies are in does affect our minds. Other
factors that make a difference in our fitness would be our
age, for example someone in their 20s would most often be
more fit than someone in their 70s.

The level of fitness also depends on whether you are a male
or a female and what you have inherited from your parents.
These are factors beyond our control. But there are some
things that can be controlled only by us and play a vital
role in keeping fit like our eating habits and how much
physical exercise we do daily.

Following a Good fitness plan will lead to better physical
health and appearance. But you shouldn't expect miracles
overnight. You need to be patient and persevering to reap
the rewards. The body takes a long time to respond so you
have to do the drill again and again. The secret is to go
on trying till you succeed and achieve your target.
